Miles better than Vogue Australia’s current offering. Not to mention how terrific it is to see Abbey Lee Kershaw. The cover shot itself is fantastic, love the Dior look, the lighting, the setting, and the intense stare from Abbey. Zero complaints from me!
I’m not a fan of when they edit a soft photo over the clear lines of the masthead, but Abbey looks lovely. It’s great when models know how to “deliver” effortlessly. I hope it’s not a talent that goes by the wayside after the inundation of cheesy/sexy/forced poses in social media.
Since Abbey transitioned to film, is she supposed to be, like, too good for Fashion editorial the way she used to do it? I loved so much of her past work, and you see some of that energy here, but I feel like Aussie InStyle isn't good enough for her.
