don't like elle but the editorial is cool. Nothing new or groundbreaking but cool nontheless.

If I remember correctly there's only one editorial by Craig McDean and it's with two brunettes (one is Querelle Jansen). All of the clothes are Prada Pre-Fall/Fall 2014.

F/W 2014 in May? Next thing you know we'll be seeing the F/W collections on April covers.

lotsa good 90s vibes off this. the cool tones of the cover struck me as very Kate by McDean for her recent 90s i-D cover redux. love the cover sans that atrocious Interview logo.
the sweeps of robins egg on Elle's lids reminds me of all of that experi(mental), major eye-make up looks Linda Cantello was doin in the mid 90s. which wasn't always the prettiest per say but always so striking; Linda's work imo defined (the best of) 90s make-up with her outside of the box counterculture influence make-up. which i think with brands like Urban Decay were highly influential in bringing street and high art influenced looks to the mainstream.

the ed itself is ok but Elle is always so charming. again 90s vibe very Corinne Day but i don't mind. i do like the tranquil mood in contrast to some of the clunkier , cartoonish pieces Karl selected.

The McDean editorial is stunning. And I love Dane DeHaan editorial as well. I'm maybe a little bit biased, but it's amazing!

Such a good issue; May is always great for Interview, but this is even better than last year's. Some great articles and beautiful photography throughout the issue and Elle's cover/edit is just sublime...probably the best one I've seen from the mag in a while (and ellastica you're right, Corinne Day's pics of Moss served as inspiration for said shoot).

My only gripe is that there was no swimwear edit, but 'Two' is a really beautiful and evocative pre-fall story and definitely one of Mc Dean's best fashion editorials for Interview. I can snap the missing pics if anyone gives a hoot (or anything else for that matter)?
