Interview November 2015 : Rooney Mara by Peter Lindbergh

^ Yeah she always looks the same, in real life too. Always has her hair up. I find her duller than dirt.

LOL

I always thought she was the same person as Noomi Rapace… I swear, these faces all look the same to me: Bryce Dallas Howard looks exactly like Jessica Chastain, etc…

I really like the B&W here— the textures are so mesmerizing, and coupled with the steamy, noir-ish feel through Peter’s lense, the images are almost Magritte/ de Chirico-surreal in their plaintive setting. I’m glad it’s not in bright, techno, acid colors of the Miu Miu collection.

The cover and edit are cool, just too much emphasizing her cheekbones, border-lining on creepy.

There's a fantastic, hazy story with Rianne von Rompaey walking in NY by McDean (lots of Celine) and stark Anna Cleveland by Lindbergh in Alaia in this issue...both stories are floating about the Internet but am too lazy/busy to post; just thought I'd give a heads up :pink:.

Purely judging by the content I've seen so far, this looks like a very dark issue. I cannot fault Lindbergh's story with Anna Cleveland, definitely not as an ardent Marilyn Manson fan. The resemblance is uncanny here.

Not really a fan of Anna Cleveland but she's selling that Alaïa story flawlessly.

Love Rianne's ed too.

Rianne's story is the highlight of the issue. Wonderful photography and styling. Templer & McDean really can't do wrong together
