Can't remember the last cover of Interview that I liked this much (probably the one with Keira Knightley by Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott). I'm a total sucker for Penelope Cruz, and she's photographed just beautifully for this cover here. A thousand times more compelling than what Interview's been doing lately - I'm down for this.

Definitely borrows from classic Lindbergh photos. But I don't mind - it feels like more of a tribute.

Penelope is stunning. Love this!

I already knew what the image will look like, and the final result didn't surprise me. Penelope for me can photograph very one-note. You'd have to add trimmings and really go all out for anything remotely fresh with her.

i think she's in that murder on the orient express film, so that must be why. still highly random given the target audience of the film and the mag

She's been on the cover of Interview at least twice before, I'd say she's a regular at this point. Photographs beautifully, has multiple films coming out this year plus the Versace TV show at the start of next, if anything she should be doing more publicity but there's still a generation of film star that doesn't feel the need to shove themselves into our faces at every opportunity.

Christian McDonald is a skilled photographer, this photo says a lot in spite of its simplicity. Would be happy to see his work on more covers.
