and if so, thank god !
because i'm tired of heavy eye makeup.

i'm getting this idea because recently a lot of the big houses showed models with lipstick and not much on the eyes. what do you think?

OK, IMO, there's always a focal point when you do makeup, a makeup overload is when you have more than one focal point ( lips, eyes, cheekbones ) it all can make you look loaded

This season I've seen a lot of emphasis on lips, lot's of grape, mauve colours, leaving the eyes clean w/ a bit of sheers colors and mascara... so for me, is safe to keep something out when doing makeup, if you create emphasis on one spot, the whole look will come off more subliminal and less shocking and hard to accept

And look at who's talking about less shocking and hard to accept

Definitely, it's about emphasizing one feature. I don't think any one part of the face is ever more "in"...
