LOL, agreed.

I want to learn Italian but I don't have the time nor really the energy. Someday though!

I learned English really quick, actually. Took about a year. My first language is Russian, aha. English seems like a very easy language to learn, no? Oh man, I'd love to be fluent in French. I could get by in simple conversations like asking time of day, how are you, HI I'D LOVE TO ORDER A CHEESEBURGER, etc. I took four years of Spanish (another easy language, I'd imagine), and two in French. French is complete and utter hell, it's true, ^ they are not exaggerating.

Ohh, and Portuguese sounds so beautiful. Kind of like a mix of French and Spanish. So I guess it'd be useful to be fluent in French/Spanish before learning Portuguese!

I love French. It just sounds so good...but German will be a hard one, especially pronounciation?

I took two years of French in high school and remember just a bit of it, I want to relearn it...and I'm taking italian in uni now. So I'm hoping to perfect my French and Italian.

Hmmm ... I disagree that French is difficult. I was a french major--you just have to put some effort in at the beginning.

I find Spanish more confusing (although I'm fluent in both) since you can "embed" the subject in the noun when you conjugate.

Try Tigrinya--now that is a difficult language.

I want to learn Arabic.

i've been student in japanese for two years..oh my god...it's the most difficult laguage imo...took me 15 days to learns kanas but when we start kanjis i wanted to die...espescially because in the first year programm we need to learn sth like 500 kanjis ( if i'm not mistaken)...my bad...+ the grammar...

but despite the difficulty, i would loove to be fluent in japanese and live one day in tôkyô..

Good thing I skipped that in HS and took spanish. (I actually couldn't stand spanish and wanted to switch to french, but now that makes me feel better.)

Speaking of languages, Lucy lu (sp?) was on David Letterman and she speaks mandarine (sp?) and said these 6 words that sounded EXACTLY the same and they are actually different words .

Yeah, mandarin has 4 tones to each word. How it's said implies different meanings.

I was thinking to go to take a summercourse in paris.
It's 890euros for 2 weeks. (coure, accodomation incl., expensive?)
It's the organisation EFinternational.

Does someone has done a course with EF?
Is it good quality and do you get for the money?

I also choose paris so I can shop
