http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-AUTHENTIC-THOMAS-WYLDE-SWAROVSKI-BAROLO-CLUTCH-BAG_W0QQitemZ260333993239QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_CSA_WH_Handbags?hash=item260333993239&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A13%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318
I have some doubts about a Thomas Wylde Barolo skull clutch I received, but the seller offers a refund, so I would love confirmation to set my mind at ease.
The leather actually feels heavy and quality in my hands with nice distressing. The skull is also very heavy. The lining inside does not look shiny or fake, but it doesn't exactly feel like the silk lining to me. The back plate is a gunmetal color and I read that the fakes are usually your typical silver color. However, the metal plate came with a plastic protective covering and I read that authentic Thomas Wylde are not sold or shipped with this. I don't know if this is correct or not.
I guess what gives me the most pause is there is no tag inside the bag with a hologram or serial number. I thought I read in an Ebay guide that there should be a suede tag inside with numbers, but I am not seeing this in the pictures of another completed Ebay auction for this same style of clutch.
There is a paper Thomas Wylde hang tag that looks correct to me, but there is a little black triangle-shaped leather piece hanging off of it. Kind of reminds me of when they include those on a cheap leather purse just to prove it's 100% genuine leather.
The seller I bought from also sold two more of these clutches making me wonder if he sells fakes, but his rating is 100% so far and no complaints about the other clutches.
