I've been to two Jewish weddings.As far as I know the groom is wearing a white robe when going to the chuppah(or that sort of thing) and this white robe symbolizes that for the couple life is starting with a clean slate.

Wow, the place setting is beautiful and the ceremony site is typical Preston Bailey, ALL white. I love Preston Bailey's ideas but he needs to use some more color, it looked almost like a science lab, especially with Jared's coat lol! j/k
I LOVE Ivana's dress too! It's good to see her and Donald dancing, it gave me a little smile.
And I still love Ivanka's dress, it's so pretty and delicate looking. She looks like a princess!

Move over Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie you’re fired! There is no way that you could be on planet earth and not know about the union of Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner who were married on last Sunday. What is so amazing is that ALL the media reports are referencing what a beautiful couple they are.
When will the most beautiful couple plan to have children? Well, actually Ivanka wants to put career first over having children right now and even honeymooning too. Ivanka returned to work just TWO days after her wedding, alerting her Twitter fans via a Tweet. The most beautiful couple has decided to wait until December to take their honeymoon which will be a trip to Africa.
Ivanka’s pet project the Trump International Hotel & Tower Waikiki in Honolulu, Hawaii will open in two weeks and she of course will be on the scene.

^I know it's not that serious but Jared is nowhere near beautiful. Cute in a geeky way at most. Ivanka is admittedly very pretty (in good part thanks to surgery and impecable make-up and grooming, imo).
In term of symbolism, the jewish and christian orthodox weddings are truly the most beautiful. Nearly worth converting for.

But to be fair, it's not a common occurrence. "This is only one of two times," said Trump, who also admitted to feeling "a little bit naked" without her ring.
Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who has been married to football player Tim Hasselbeck since 2002, advised that once she gets used to wearing a wedding band, "You just don't even take the ring off. You keep it on. It gets dirty … But in the newlywed stage, you clean it and take care of it."
Promoting her new book, The Trump Card, with mom Ivana at her side, Ivanka also said she didn't let the burden of having a famous and wealthy dad get in the way of finding her own success, thanking her parents for providing her with a good childhood.
And mom Ivana's secret to motherhood?
"I told them not to steal, cheat or lie, not to drink alcohol or take drugs ... and also the value of money and hard work," she said.
(For the record: Both Donald Jr and Ivana herself have had significant drinking problems, and Ivana also said she has been married three times- she has been married four times; but never bother a Trump with such minor annoyances as the facts... )
