Jacquemus F/W 2018.19 : Frederikke Sofie by David Luraschi

Too pretentious and pedestrian, no fashion in this at all.

I loved what he did last season. 'La Bomba' was in the end my favorite SS18 campaign. Just gonna sit here and wait to see the rest.

His whole imagery for the brand is so flawlessly curated. You GET the essence, the aesthetic, the vision.

This looks fantastic already, can't wait for more.

Someone's been looking a little too much at Céline's Teller-free resort campaigns.

Noble effort, but far too crude for my taste.

His campaigns are very Hermes-y.

Last season was better. I don't like the motorcycle shot, but some of the accessory images are nice - like the one in the wheat field.

Think I'll pass on this. Pales in comparison to the spring campaign and I agree it looks a little Teller-esque

not sure I like this especially considering how nice the collection was. Feels like a wellness centre or luxury holiday ad

A really plain, really Porter type of vibe here, it lacks the edge of last season. Frederikke is so 2016.

I like. Makes total sense in the narrative that Simon wanna tell. Focusing in the bags is the best thing that he could with this collection since the clothes were pretty basic, he can use the bags as a bait for the clothes.

I dont mind the Teller revisitations as long that in the next seasons Simon adds that sexy and fun energy that I love like in "La Bomba" ads.

It is very Celine ripoff, right down to the model choice. He should feature his muse Eleonore Toulin in a campaign, she represents the brand as well as anyone could.

I liked last season's campaign a lot more, this is just.. there. Cinematic for the sake of being cinematic without actually conveying much.

On a side note, can we talk about that awful gold logo on the bags? It could very well say Duki Daso.
