Jane Mayle

i thought i would revive this thread as i am a big fan. the collections just keep getting better and i am looking forward to SS08

i saw some of it at barneys and was not impressed. the prices are  to me.

granted, she has some nice things, but overall, a lot of it is nothing special imo.

i thought i'd try to revive this thread..
ive only recently discovered mayle through impulse seattle..
and there are some beautiful things...with quite a different feel to those already posted on this page imo..

does she ever do a runway show or presentation of some sort?...

here are a few examples..

thanks for the links liashoes..
i particularly like the favourite room picture..
i love all those books..

those are some great pieces. But i bet the prices are still quite (unnecessarily) high. But those coats really are divine....I haven't seen them anywhere else (NAP for example)

most pieces seem to be in the 300-650 range..
for the pieces i posted anyway..

:flower:..

i just found a bigger scan of jane's favourite room that i had saved months ago without realising it was her..
i will upload in just a minute..

for all of you jane mayle fans...is the price worth it? I am going to purchase a coat, but it will be my most expensive purchase to date and I want to make sure I am not buying something of poor quality. thansk!

Her pieces looks so lovely, warm, and inviting! I love her cozy knits esp. And the vintage feel of her stuff is right up my alley. But the prices. Oooph.

Thanks for the pics, adorefaith. I go to the Impulse site just to drool.

Been around for a while, her early knot wear is extremely covetable. recent stuff is not as good, quality has taken a dip whilst prices have gone up....

I would give impulse(seattle), jumelle(brooklyn) or bird(brooklyn) a call and see if they have them. I checked the usual online sites to carry mayle and I didn't see the dress. Good luck!

I got the bomber jacket featured above and it's beautiful. However, a button popped off! The buttons seem to be sewn by hand--I will go and get them reinforced by my seamstress...the rest of the jacket is amazing quality.

depending on where you live you might also wanna try AlOthman in Kuwait as they always buy very deep into Mayle :)

Her stuff is AMAZING!!! Shes my all time favorite. Her details are amazing. If you email them at Mayleonline.com they will send you her lookbook which are amazing to look at. She makes me so excited!!! Her stuff is super hard to find very rare, and stuff that goes on ebay goes for almost what the retail is ALWAYS. It holds its value for sure.. just amazing.

I would actually like to move to NY and work for Jane Mayle in her marketing department. How do I get ahold of her? I email them all the time.
