Her body looks very good for her age. ( Infact, for any age!) Plastic surgery can only do so much, she must have loads of discipline.
As for her face, I rather it be natural. too much. She and the desperate housewives ( nicolette and teri) are all beginning to morph into each other.

I only saw bits of America's next top model tonight and I was surprised to see Janice on it! She was photographing their shoot (I think it was inspired by the Italian Vogue cosmetic surgery editorial). Watching her, she seems so sweet, giving these very polite thank-you's to the girls

i looooooveee janice so much! since the first time i saw her on ANTM... she is awsome, i love how she says whatever she thinks and dont care anything about what anyone else will think!. she really is very funny!
i was so mad when i read the first pages of this forum,,, it seemed like nobody liked her and were only critizising her about her saying to be the "worlds first supermodel", because i actually think she DID COIN THE TERM... im glad that the last replys show to know this is true.... kind of...
janice is THE BEST of the "old" models...!!! 
i think she still looks veeery good despite all the surgeries..

I have to say although I dig Jan, she should stop telling that lie. I have mags way before she started and I vividly remember seeing in print a model being called 'Supermodel' in 1973 for Cosmo,although it wasn't really widely used until the mid-80s. Sure she has what it takes to be called a Supermodel, but not claim it. I notice the girls who are known as Supers(the public dubed like Cindy,Linda,Naomi,etc) never say that they are, like they have nothing to prove. Jan on the other hand has to kind of scream all these things both flattering & unflattering and that say notice me after her run in the mid 80's.
I too wonder what she would look like without all the surgery, she was something unique physically.

And during the Super era Naomi was way better known, although Tyra was doing the same kind of modelling she ending her career with. Naomi is much more diverse, so is Iman and many others. Naomi will go on & on doing what she does best and that's modelling not eveyone has that 20 years of steady work and attention! She is the most covered of any blackstar(Ben Arogundade) and of most non-black models, including Tyra. So what she doesn't have a show people need to also think as in maybe she doesn't want one, I bet she doesn't. She never had to go outside of modelling b/c she is always accepted period. That doesn't make her less talented, she is more talented. She has mastered her day job. Tyra hasn't and now is trying to be Oprah and it isn't working.
And not to mention Jan is way better than Ty for the previous posters, too. I miss her on ANTM and find myself not really interested since she has left.

I know Janice is a big-mouth and likes to talk about herself a lot, but I think what she did for herself back in the 70's as a model is admirable. She didn't take any bulls**** from anyone at a time when models were often taken advantage of. She got what she wanted and raised the bar for other models. Her career had longevity because she was professional, and even while she was doing drugs she stayed loyal to her modeling career and wanted to further it, unlike Gia. I just bought 'No Lifeguard on Duty', mainly for the Gia references but also to learn more about Janice. I think the main difference between her and Gia was that Gia wasn't into modeling that much, and she was more hooked on getting her drug fixes.

I dont care what people say- shes a star! I have been searching through bookstores like a maniac, but I cant find the book! She was so exotic at the time of her big break! No one had ever thought of a model to not be so generic! I love pictures of her, so dont hold back on posting a lot of them!
