Hmm you know some things I hate in it and some things I love.
It's always easy to bash the 'Upper East Side' style (not the Gossip Girl thing, but the whole Oscar de la Renta 'look') but I think he does give a pretty decent updated version of the look.
I really didn't like the first half of the collection. Not flattering, fussy, too busy, and just blah. The second half looked a lot nicer - I didn't love his last collection, but this was a bit more contemporary to me (I think it's the shorter lengths - which yes, all look the same to me).
I love the marigold and purple that he used, and anything with the black waistband.
