Too Jessica Alba for my taste... Some dresses are nice though.

I don't really like the runway setting. There is already a lot going on in the collection so the environment is very distracting. The collection itself doesn't seem cohesive either. Overall it's pretty boring with a bunch of recycled ideas. I'm sure some girls would like these dresses for prom though..

Oh the last dress is perfection.
Gorgeous colors, nice silhouettes, great casting, overall loving alot of it.
I give it an 8/10

I'm sorry but this is terrible...everything about it is terrible and very forced.

The set is dated, the colors are silly, the casting is atrocious, the make up is so incongruous, the hats/headpieces are so contrived...it's just so...done.

And Jason looks so cocky coming down that runway at the end! OK! We get it, Michelle wore your dress to the Inaugural Balls...you're just not that great.

It's very pretty but at the same time I've seen everything a thousand times before. I never expect much from Wu anyway.

is this a new form innovative charity? who donated the left overs of their past collections here, DG or Marc Jacobs?

TBH, I think this is much better than that de la Renta-lite collection he showed for fall. At least this is fun to look at. It's nothing new, and I have grown to truly hate the mini-shift/peg skirt silhouette that almost every young designer has been doing for eons, but at the very least there are some cute pieces.

His styling is too much though. He needs a better set of eyes working besides him to tell him that ruffled hairbands, havy makeup, a mirrored runway and an ornately patterned carpet don't work well all together, especially when your clothes are so vibrant.

i've seen thses designs too mahy times and it's all a bit messy don't like but there are a few dresses i'd love to see mrs obama wear ;)

Hmm you know some things I hate in it and some things I love.

It's always easy to bash the 'Upper East Side' style (not the Gossip Girl thing, but the whole Oscar de la Renta 'look') but I think he does give a pretty decent updated version of the look.

I really didn't like the first half of the collection. Not flattering, fussy, too busy, and just blah. The second half looked a lot nicer - I didn't love his last collection, but this was a bit more contemporary to me (I think it's the shorter lengths - which yes, all look the same to me).

I love the marigold and purple that he used, and anything with the black waistband.

I don't think I enjoy Jason Wu for women's suits. Jason is good at party dresses without going "Betsey Johnson." And I think that's where he should put his strengths.

OMG! what a bad collection! The whole show gave me Dolce & Gabbana SS/09 & FW/09 vibe and the feathered dresses are so Louis Vuitton SS/09! What happened to you Jason? I bet Queen Anna is not pleased :D

Much ado about nothing?! :D

In other words, I feel a lot of emphasis has been placed on some rather uninspiring motifs.
