JEISA CHIMINAZZO

Born and raised in Mucum, Brazil, Jeisa is the middle child in a family of three children. She was discovered on the street by Brazilian modeling agents and after booking her first job with a bikini catalogue, Jeisa quickly rose to the top of the industry.

Since then, Jeisa has gone on to conquer the modeling world with her incredible talent and dedication. Jeisa is a model that truly loves her work. She has done such prestigious campaigns as Emporio Armani, Philosophy di Alberta Ferreti, Emanuel Ungaro, Jill Stuart, Versus, Dior, Armani Exchange, Jill Stuart, Gap, Express, D&G, Topshop, Max, Akris, Hugo Boss, Gap, Tommy Hilfiger and Chanel, photographed by Karl Lagerfeld, and Calvin Klein Jeans, photographed by Mikael Jansson and Calvin Klein’s fragrance advertisements for “CK1” and “Choice”.

Jeisa has worked with the best photographers in the business, such as Mario Testino, Steven Meisel, Paolo Roversi, Craig Mc Dean, Mario Sorrenti, Mert & Marcus, Tom Munro, Ellen Von Unwerth, Bruce Weber, Inez Van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin, Michael Thompson, Max Vadukal, Gilles Bensimon, Tom Munro, Miles Aldridge, and Peter Beard to name a few.

In addition, Jeisa has appeared on the covers of Vogue (French, Brazilian, German, Spanish & Russian), Mixte, L’Officiel, British & Italian Marie Claire, French, and appears regularly in the inside pages of Elle, Vogue (American, Italian, French, Japanese, & German), Italian Marie Claire, Flair, Gloss, i-D, PoP and V.

Jeisa also holds a stellar runway record. In New York she has walked for top designers as Marc Jacobs, Ralph Lauren, Darryl K, DKNY; and in Milan, for Philosophy, Alberta Ferreti, Ana Molinari, Blumarine, D&G, Fendi, Balenciaga, Valentino, Gucci, Chloe, Dior, YSL, and Fendi.

Jeisa is a seasoned traveler and speaks three languages: Portuguese, Italian, and English. She now resides in New York, but her favorite country is her homeland, Brazil, and her favorite city is Sao Paulo. Any extended free time she has; Jeisa goes back to Brazil to see her family and friends. She enjoys going to the theatre and the movies, playing pool, exercising, shopping, and listening to music when she isn’t modeling.

Jeisa plans on continuing her modeling career and hopes to study acting sometime in the future.

her longevity in this business is positive... you may not see her on the runway as before but this baby doll's status is good.

parkereloise: you know our city is an iron jungle, you know what that means. however, i do see Jeisa more often than not but there's a reason for it. it's nothing you did or did not do.

does anyone have a good scan of the MARIECLAIRE magazine with jeisa in it?
i think it's from 2004...
i have two halfs, but one half is bad(the scan missed a decent part of her gorgeous body).
