Exclusive First Look: We Chat to Jennifer Hawkin’s about Lovable’s New Autumn/Winter 2012 Lingerie Collection
Here’s your exclusive first look at Jennifer Hawkins for Lovable’s upcoming Autumn/Winter 2012 “La Dolce Vita” Lingerie Collection. The new AW12 “La Dolce Vita” collection takes its inspiration from the smouldering sensuality of Italian film sirens, the effortless glamour of Sophia Loren and the idyllic romance of Italy in the 60′s.
Featuring a colour palette of blush, boysenberry, aqua, pearled ivory, indigo and black throughout the collection with highlights of polka dots, scalloped lace, feminine florals and elegant mesh trim reflect the collection’s theme.
We got to ask Jen a few questions about the new collection:
Sassi: What are your favourite pieces from this collection?
Jen: The new Lovable AW12 range really is a gorgeous collection; the colour palette is much richer than last season, with beautiful hues of grape, pink, grey’s and mushroom. The pretty prints and black lace sets are my favorites! Shooting a new collect is always exciting, I enjoy shooting lingerie, it’s fun! We pump the music up and dance around – it all feels kind of wrong doing it in knickers but oh so fun! At the end of the day I leave with a box of product so my wardrobe is nearly made up completely of Lovable & Cozi. I need more room I think, ha!
Sassi: So what do you look for in your lingerie?
Jen: I like to feel like I’m wearing nothing – so the fit of a garment is paramount. It’s great because Lovable always use incredible fabrics and lace and their main focus is the fit of the bra so they are comfortable but also sexy- perfect !
Sassi: You’ve been a long-term Ambassador for Lovable, how long has it been and why do you love Lovable so much?
Jen: Lovable has been such a great partnership. I signed in 2007 and five years later I am still excited to be working on the brand – it feels wonderful that they believe in me. I do love lingerie and I love what Lovable stands for as a brand so it’s a great fit ! Lovable garments are very comfortable and I can say I definitely feel sexier when I’m wearing a matching lovable set – it puts me in a cheeky mood- Gotta love that! We shot the website shots & I am shooting the campaign in February and I can’t wait – I’ve started working out like crazy that’s for sure!
Sassi: Lingerie needs TLC to make them last, how do you care for your lingerie?
Jen: Lovable garment’s are really durable so nothing special to be honest, I put them in a separate mesh bag and put the washer on gentle or hand wash them.
