Jennifer Lawrence

Her hair was just ugh.

Imagine if an actress wore a dress like she did to the after-party to the Oscars themselves? That would be cool and it would shake up the proceedings a little too!

Yeah, the hair was terrible. It made me realize how huge her forehead is. I liked the dress though.

She should've worn her hair down for the VF look but I guess thats way too much preparation for her team

I didn't realise how bad the hair and makeup were until she walked on stage. Cripes! It looked like she had just been involved in a bar brawl.

Strangely, it works with the Tom Ford dress, though. Very Sharon Stone and hooker chic at its finest. Now that outfit is one of my favourites of the night.

The party dress is great. Again, the bad hair makes what would have been a sexy dress a bit dull.

when she presented, was that suppossed to be scripted? or just a joke gone bad? she's been getting on my nerves lately...
No, lol, Ellen moved off set or something, to make sure she didn't fall(as she did last year). Bradley Cooper and some others in the audience were cracking up. She was just being herself, which, imho, is refreshing, 'cause these celebs tend to take themselves too seriously(Leo are you listening?):pink:

^^aah, is there footage of all that? (the director was pretty bad this year imo). Also, Ellen joked that Jen tripped when she was getting out of the car, is that true? I didn´t see the whole RC coverage...

Haven't seen footage of it, but I read it on this news website. Don't know if she fell getting out of the car, but she fell on the red carpet. There's footage of that everywhere, in fact its a gif now.

Last night she had worst beauty moment, just awful hairstyle and makeup. What was going on with her eyebrows?

I will say, her fellow celebrities all look like they absolutely love her judging by their interactions in photos.

I actually liked her makeup because it was almost nonexistent, imo most of the time they don´t get it right so I rather see her like last night than like at the Golden Globes.

It did happen, I found out way after the fact. See gif of the incident below:

Her Oscars look was completely a miss. The lack of make-up made her have that sleepy, I just woke up look that so few people can pull off with their distinct features (Angeline Jolie comes to mind). She is one of those individuals that DOES require some kind of heavy eye make-up to accentuate and bring color/depth. Even last year's make-up, she had eye shadow and blending. The black eyeliner this year was not enough.

I didn't care for that "back necklace" last year nor this year. I wish she'd stop trying to make those work. It's obviously a regular necklace worn differently and it looks silly.

yeah i was watching E! and the camera goes to watch her arriving and then she fell. they rewinded it too

^This girl is pure gold:lol: She falls everywhere!

Not sure you can call her eyeliner black, though. More like a brown. It made such a small impact. The reason Jolie can pull it off is also in part because she has a greater contrast between her eyes/skin/hair. On Jennifer it all looks very bland.

 That was hysterical. She was mortified but I don't think it will ever stop being funny.

Obviously people are doing the absolute most and saying she fell on purpose because you know because she knew that specific camera 10 or 20 feet away was on and part of E!'s coverage.

Her eyes are too hooded to carry off heavy or defined eye make up if that makes sense. When you have hooded eyes, less is more. But I hope her make up artist is fired after last night's oscar look because it was awful.

Am I the only one who is getting sick of this "real girl" "always tripping" "being crazy" thing..I love her, I really do, but its starting to become a tad bit obnoxious and forced? IDK. I liked it at first, but its getting sorta played out..

I wasn't a huge fan of the look last night, but red is a beautiful color on her! I wish she would have more fun with her red carpet choices!

^ I agree. I've just been on buzzfeed and they've had article after article on Jennifer. I mean she's a goofy girl and I feel her personality is genuine and it's definitely a fun one but the media needs to give it a rest. She fell, it was funny but they don't have to say omg this is the best thing I've ever seen, this makes her the best human being that has ever existed!!!! They can appreciate her personality without going utterly overboard with adoration. That's why I don't really read articles on her anymore.

I love her after-party dress. That fits her style. Of course, she couldn't have worn a racy style of gown like that to the Oscars, but something more youthful would have been nice. She makes those sheer side panels work too.

I love her look last night and I think Jen is really genuine and isn't trying to force an image on us. The media on the other hand... Even last year when she was front runner for the Oscar, I didn't feel like she was as visible as she could have been.
