Jennifer Lawrence

I think it's foolish to believe her tripping was "forced". There was a cone in front of her and she was too busy waving to the people in the stands to notice it. As us Aussies would say, she stacked it. But the notion it was staged is just ludicrous - just watch the gif! Girlfriend was literally grabbing the woman in front of her on the way down! Plus, when you're in five/six inch heels who's gonna play around like that and risk a serious ankle injury just so they can be a laughing stock for the rest of the night? Nonsense.

I LOVED her dress. So disappointed in her disastrous hair and makeup because the gown was one of the most beautiful on the red carpet last night, and the styling completely ruined it.

As for what happened when she walked on stage to present Best Actor, Matthew McCounaghey said in an interview after his win that Ellen was miming her tripping and Jared Leto was laughing at her. So it was Jared she was mock-scolding

Still inappropriate though. I like her but she really does need to start acting more professional at events.

I think that if Jennifer knew they were expecting her to ignore Ellen, she would have held her tongue. However, considering how big a deal Ellen made about the whole tripping-incident, she couldn't really have known that she should... I think Ellen is fairly responsible for Jennifer's outburst.

To be honest I don't think she will learn to behave more professional as long as everyone else expect her to behave silly:/

Hollywood, specifically the Oscars, take themselves way too seriously. She's new to the game and seems to be a happy, fun and easy-going person. Maybe in time the celebrity machine will suck the joy out of her, I hope not, in the meantime she's just being young and as open as she can.

I'm not suggesting it was forced, I mean she obviously just tripped lol. And I know this is who she is, and shes a bit crazy and sometimes runs without filter...and thats okay and thats part of the reason I fell in love with her. But its starting to become just a tad bit inappropriate. I'm not suggesting she becomes stone and looses all personality..sometimes she just says and does things that are not in the right time or place. Which is fine and crazy sometimes, but she does it all the time..

Which isn't necessarily Jennifer's fault either, media is defiantly to blame for most of it.

amen.

I thought she looked gorgeous as always at the Oscars, though I was surprised she went with red again but I loved the Tom Ford mini dress at the after party more, its was so sexy on her, and different from what shes been wearing.

Aoedele, you said that nicely, thanks. It must be difficult to be a young star in Hollywood, and everyone reacts to it differently according to his or her personality. We don't want robots as actors; we want flesh and blood humans - who make mistakes, who take risks.

... including on the red carpet.

Since "stylists" have become the norm, very few people take risks anymore or use their clothes to express their personalities. I miss that. No more Chers in Bob Mackies or Diane Keatons in Ralph, etc.

I like mistakes and flaws. I like brave failures. It's so much more exciting than constantly being poised and wearing the "right" things. Yawn. ;)

I don't think these pics of Dior have been posted here

Jennifer Lawrence flashes a big smile as she rocks a Louisville Cardinals jersey in support of her hometown during March Madness in this brand-new photo posted on Thursday (March 20).
“Jennifer Lawrence wishes good luck to her hometown @GoCards at the start of @NCAA @marchmadness today!,” the school’s athletics social media director shared on his Twitter account along with the pic. “#L1C4 #UofL.”

She looks cute. Seeing her there, cute and natural, it just makes her Dior photoshoot (while still beautiful) look so photoshopped and unlike her.

I just watched Catching Fire and, just like when I saw the first Hunger Games movie, I cannot get over how good she looks with long dark hair and minimal make up.
