Jennifer Lawrence

^I know what you mean. :flower: I guess it's okay that she doesn't care about fashion because as far as I'm concerned being a great actress trumps over having great style. Like you said, she stands out from "generation nepotism (love that term btw)," because she has genuine talent whereas a lot of these girls are only famous because of their last name and their style. But it's a shame at the same time, even if Jen doesn't care about clothes she should at least have a good stylist who will do all the work for her and make her look as glam as her should be! ^_^

I bet it's too soon to guess what films will be nominated for Oscars next year but I'm wondering if Jen will get another nom for her turn as Katniss. It seems like everyone's really loving it. And it's not like blockbuster movies haven't been nominated before, hello Lord of The Rings and Avatar, so it would be cool to see a film with a kick-a** female protagonist be nominated too. But I'm guessing it's a bit of a long-shot sadly. However, I firmly believe (and I know it's probably a bit early to say this without having seen the film yet) that hiring Jen to play Katniss was the best thing they did. I mean, a former Oscar nominated actress playing one of the most beloved literature characters in recent years... brilliant! :D

I just wanna see her wearing something red and simple like she did at Oscars last year and like that red Michael Kors dress she wore to Mexico few weeks ago. That's all I ask. I liked that Marchesa dress on the runaway but please not on Jen. And those shoes..ugh.
It's not like I'm complaining about this stylist lady but seriously I don't like what she's putting on Jen. Clothes must match the personality and the event.

^That red oscars dress was stunning. Or this pink dress she wore back in 2011 at the SAG's. Stunning.

And I agree...that Marchesa dresss was not a very good look for her. But I think her HG permiere outfits so far have been fantastic

This is so true and I completely agree with you. Although I do think the part of reason why so many of us care is because we want her to have the whole package because she actually deserves it. We want her to be a great actress, be charming, and be really stylish. And at the moment she has two out of the three. So I guess we are all rooting for her to make an impact style-wise too. I've liked some of her outfits but they haven't wowed me the way I hoped they would which is a bit of a disappointment. Anyways, I can't wait to see her in THG on friday! It sounds like she's really fantastic.

I so totally agree with everything you said. I liked the Prabal Gurung dress and the Tom Ford, but she never just knocks it out of the park in terms of the Red Carpet, which is such a shame.

Well I for once loved all her outfits. They all, in a way, seemed to pay homage to her character- a girl from coal mines who went to be set on fire- literally.

I think Elizabeth Banks red outfits achieved this concept better than Jennifer´s...

Is that it for the promo tour?

I'm still waiting to be wowed... I was really hoping to be impressed (like I was with Emma Stone for the past ~1.5 years, and still continue to be!).

She's one of the few people who can get the better of David so I'm looking forward to this interview.

The outfit doesn't really mesh well.

^I like the shoes as well.

But what about that hair? very Barbie-like...don't like the bangs like that...and that smile seems a bit "off" - I don't know whether it's her "typical smile" or whether is it a bit "acted" and that's why it looks a bit unnatural..don't know her well enough to tell... I would like the dress if not for the neckline, cut-out-thing going on ...

Her face looks so weird, like she´s a different person  Julianne Hough comes to mind...
The dress is ok but the shoes are really nice imo :D

Not the most exciting look, but it is a pretty cute for a black dress and she looks pretty.:flower:
