Okay, I can NOT even wait til December. Let's get this party started right now, people! This young man, originally named Jeremy Smith, has gotta be hugely talented because Spielberg plucked him from obscurity to star and basically carry the sure to be nominated for tons of Oscars "War Horse" (alongside other current crushes of mine David Kross 'The Reader' and T. Hiddles or Tom Hiddleston 'Thor'). This British stage, television, and now film actor is also set to star in "Great Expectations" (with Bellatrix--I mean, Helena Bonham Carter) and he's currently filming "Now is Good" with Dakota Fanning. Kid is about to BLOW UP. Plus, he's...kind of good looking. sarcasm: biggest understatement of the year).

I've been hoping that someone would create a thread for Jeremy. He's quite dreamy... and I cannot wait to see him in War Horse. The film look's like a masterpiece. And to be picked from seemingly out of nowhere and by Spielberg has to say something about how good of an actor Jeremy is. And it already looks like War Horse will most-likely be nominated for an Oscar, at least for cinematography if not in other categories too. Also, can't wait to see Great Expectations (the cast list is brilliant)... it's quite a lofty role! But I'm sure he'll play his part well.

Yeah, I know it's based on a great, critically acclaimed play, but it looks like Oscar fodder if I ever saw one. I know it's Spielberg, but the trailer is so...overdramatic. But that's just my uninformed opinion. I'll reserve judgment for when it comes out.

I totally see what you mean but then again I've always thought that Spielberg has always done (mostly) Oscar worthy films. Also, I think people have to remember the context of the film, it is set in WWI, which was pretty dramatic/eventful. It's not like it's a wishy-washy drama but it's based off of a critically acclaimed play and elements are based on real events (mainly just the WWI setting and whatnot). Anyways, no matter if the film is over dramatic, at least we will see Irvine in other movies coming out in the next year or so.

Totally. TBH, I'm not so sure how I feel about Now Is Good either, because I feel like I've seen the film before, but I'm still kind of interested in it. Forgive me, though. I may be in a female dog-type mood because this is the final exam week from hell. I am anticipating Great Expectations though. Can't go wrong with Bonham Carter. Anyways, he looks quite dashing in that suit. Like...a...clean Robert Pattinson. Me like.
