The print on the last look seen above was developed in collaboration with artist Niall McClelland and evokes 'the violent process and guilty pleasure of smashing glass'.

The collection is even more beautiful seen floating ephemerally down the runway on live stream.

I'm going to do something which might be a little unfair to Jeremy. I'm comparing his work to that of Haider Ackermann. In the way the garments almost snake languidly down the body; the asymmetric japonisme; the measured proportions and weight; the easy effortlessness balanced with a tough, contrarian attitude.

Should rebelliousness ever be quite this agonisingly beautiful?

^i see what you're saying about the volumes and fluidity of haider but actually when i look at this the first designer i think of is Jean-Paul Knott.

The first designer I thought of was Yamamoto.
This is however very samurai chic. There's definitely a great colour palette and styling involved. I love the bodyflowing dresses combined with the more masculine warrior oversized coats.

I'm very pleasantly surprised. What changed?. He's always been a fairly decent designer but this is quite outstanding, both for him and for New York. The volumes just fall beautifully on the models, it's not overwhelming in any way despite the textiles and layers, I wish Matthew Ames was doing something slightly similar to this, definitely not as commercial but with the serenity and elegance Jeremy achieved here.

This collection was really chic, efortless and tasteful.

Completely agree with you! He's always been one to watch for me and I've always liked his aesthetic but this is definitely his best effort so far. I saw the livestream and loved seeing this in motion, especially the finale walk when you could see all the looks at once. How many collections have we seen in NY so far that were cohesive with each individual outfit being beautiful and different? Not many, I'd say. Really loved this and so good to see him progressing as a designer.

there are several things in this collection that i would love to wear...

I was hooked after the first two looks! What an outstanding collection for him. The neutral palette allows the cool cuts, sliding shoulders, and easy movement of these pieces to shine through. Wearable, comfortable looking clothes, but not the least bit dull. Applause!!
