Sorry to be rude but I'd have honestly slap the person who would've tried to make me go out like that. I've never really paid attention to her style, but I don't think I've ever looked completely bad. This however is a mess, it looks cliché and forced. The accessorizing is beyond stupid, the only thing missing is a pair of long white gloves. This is not Jessica at all, and it doesn't even follows Total Recall mood. Yes , Marion and Rachel wore dresses from this collection but at least their stylists were clever enought to pick suitable pieces. Jessica doesn't has what it takes to pull off this dress at is so if you had the necklace and the shoes, and the earrings and the hair. It's just ...

Her press tour looks have been, quite simply, A MESS. One word encapsulates it: grandma. Example of a stylist trying hard to make someone more athletic and ungirly into the tryhard girly image of ugly pinks, necklaces and Zooey Deschanel party dress cut dresses.

She also needs to do something about her hair. Just because she's in a movie with Beckinsale, doesn't mean she needs to rip off Beckinsale's bangs+long curly hair look. Leave it to Kate, Jessica. She does it much better.

Kate Beckinsale doesn't have bangs, though?

Anyhow, I think Jessica's hair looks so much better since she's lightened it with highlights; the darker hair and sharp bangs were too severe. This lighter colour and slightly wavier style looks prettier on her.

I agree that some of her looks have been too froufou, but I don't mind the latest dress because the colour looks so nice on her.

Kate Beckinsale doesn't have bangs, though?.

She did at some point! Which you can see here. If it wasn't for Biel's bangs, she'd look like a straight up Beckinsale wannabe clone, hence why she opted for them. Though I will say, since the MET Ball where I think she first publicly rocked the bangs, they have been styled better and look better.

I think she chose bangs cause this way she looks more mature, and without she looked like a girl( imo she looks better without bangs)
