Jessica Biel

So it was Valli. I think the dress is beautiful, but it's way too pink. I mean, I just like traditional white dresses anyway. The Audrey Hepburn-like fringe isn't the ideal, but it doesn't bother me that much. I think that overall she looks beautiful and glowing!

I'm happy they finally got married, but I'd never, ever thought they would sell their wedding pics for People and/or Hello. They created so much mystery around this marriage, flying their guests to Italy, not allowing cellphones and all that for what? I just don't get it. Not to mention that they've always been so low-key... Weird.

I thought it was odd too, given their privacy, but Biel is kind of hungry for any kind of attention.

I'm not sure but, I think celebrities almost have no choice. If they were going to sell rights of their photos and/or details of their wedding, might as well be to the most reputable tabloid out there - People, whose "sources" are really just that, insiders not specifically named. Leading up to the event, more and more guests were slipping in their tweets (JT's manager said he was Italy-bound, Beverly Mitchell on Oct. 10 tweeted "so happy to be going to my favorite place on earth!" before deleting it - she had her wedding there as well, among other tweets and Justin being off the radar since leaving LAX a week ago) so maybe it was only a matter of time before paparazzi tried busting the party to get exclusive pictures of their own, ruining the day. Paparazzi still could have swarmed in after giving the rights to People, but the likelihood of that happening is less.

From the decor, to the dress, to how things panned out magazine-wise, this doesn't seem their style at all.

I disagree that they had no choice. They could've made it private if they wanted to. Look at Katy Perry & Russell Brand. Or Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford. We only got one shot of Anne Hathaway and that was a candid. Penelope & Javier...the list goes on. And just like Justin and Jess, the press knew they were getting married because like you said, there was buzz. I think they just wanted the publicity. She does have Hitchcock coming out.

^ Like Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds as well. I don't know, I think that if they really wanted privacy, they could've get it or maybe giving them just one pic of them after the cerimony. Candids end up leaking, but all leads to believe that they didn't want it to be so much private as we all expected.

Exactly. Maybe we were wrong about their personalities, haha.

Hmm. Interesting to consider, LolaSvelt. Aside from their famewhoring and grabbing straws for press this way, I feel that someone of their calibre, I mean hey IT'S JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, things would leak or become known. As for those other celebrity couples whose info wasn't leaked, well, besides Russell/Katy, I can't see the public caring for many dress and celebration details to get out. You have to remember Justin and Jessica are childhood stars, Justin being the more famous in the two. Most of us GREW UP with them, watching 7th Heaven and listening to NSYNC. Of course there'd be that much more need to know info on their special day vs. Carey Mulligan and the Mumford singer.

Funny enough, didn't Biel say in one of her recent interviews posted here that she wanted something to Emily Blunt and John Krasinski? That they'd marry almost so secretly that the story would come out that they were now a married couple and people would be so thrown off/confused? All of this seems to be the antithesis of that, from the LOOK-AT-ME couture dress to this tabloid press. It's pretty obvious they're in love with themselves. :)

Yeah it's pretty low brow.... I can't understand what they would have to gain from such a spectacle? Photo's would have leaked but who cares? They look like Tori and Dean or something....
The whole charity thing that some celebrities do is irrelevant - if Justin Timberlake wants to donate to charity he is more than financially equipped without having to sell intimate photos.

Naturally they both look beautiful and very happy - I'm not into pink but each to his own on their wedding day!! If you can't wear a pink meringue on your wedding day then when can you!!!

a pink dress....
such a good idea!

That's a lovely dress! Looks too pink in some shoots. I would like a pale rose instead, not sure how shinny pink is.

In a side note, how tracky to sell the pics to 'People' magazine. People magazine?. Hello magazine to me is not that bad. But People? Putting a picture of Britney Spears in the cover just shows they cannot be more tracky! ewwww...

And I don't like the shoots from Justin. When I get married I would like my husband-to-be takes it seriously! (After all a wedding is all about the bride! not the groom! LOL :ninja: )

That's kind of oldschool thinking, don't you think? A wedding is as much a groom's day as it is the bride's day... And hey, it's JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, he can't even make speeches at golf events serious! He's a joker all around, can't blame him.

In the People article Jessica even says, it was 50/50 cracking jokes and intimate/serious, which is why she found the evening so memorable and them.

I'm suprised to love her wedding look because I'm not a fan of hers and I think selling the wedding to a magazine is tacky. But I think she looks perfect from head to toe: the hair, the gorgeous dress, the earrings etc.

I think it's only good that people are brave enough to be idividual and do things their own way and not like all the others. We have already seen enough white dresses.

Not a huge fan of the frou-frou pink dress, but whatever. She looks nice anyhow and they look tremendously happy, which is what matters! :)

Just one thing: OMG at #737! Imagine being kissed like this, in a moment like this by Justin Timberlake  Hahaha.

I think the dress is a disaster. :innocent: But on the note of JT jumping for joy on the magazine cover....far from it being embarrassing, I think Jessica should be thrilled that she's marrying someone who's genuine and confident and can be goofy if he feels like it. nowhere does it say that if you act silly in your wedding pictures you are any less in love or serious about the relationship.

I think that part of it is lovely.

I'm in the camp of people who think JT is a bit ME ME ME, but hey, Jessica has to live with him. I hope they make it.

He is happy...they just got married!! It's not a sombre event...imagine what you would all be saying if he looked miserable.

I think it's sort of repugnant that anyone would even so much as insinuate that Justin can't look excited/elated to be getting married just because the day is supposed to be about the bride. Are we really that old fashioned? Why can't he be happy he just nabbed a really hot girl he seems to be totally in love with? There's nothing wrong with it. Some people want serious romantic weddings and others want to have fun, why is either wrong? I'm more ticked by the fact they let complete press coverage into their wedding than anything, it's one thing to let someone release photos and another to actually let People magazine romp through..but whatever. They're happy!
