While many of our favorite celebrities were out with their significant others last night for Valentine’s Day, Jessica Biel was spotted sans Justin Timberlake.

The “7th Heaven” hottie looked to be in good spirits, though, as she hopped out of a chauffeured car chatting on her mobile phone after going out to dinner.

In career news, Jessica is said to be among the top contenders to play Lois Lane in an upcoming revival of the “Superman” franchise.

But in order to score the role, she’ll have to beat out Rachel McAdams, Malin Akerman, Dianna Agron, and Kristen Stewart.

She's underrated as an actress, I love her in Easy Virtue and The Illusionist. She also has a great aspirational body shape. Slim and healthy without being skinny skinny! Her style is a little hit or miss for me but she's so pretty. I'd prefer her to be Lois Lane over Kristen Stewart that's just wrong!

No, no one has been cast as Lois Lane yet but I know they're both said to be in the running. I was just saying Jessica would be preferable to Kristen!

i think either the producers or kristens manager (or someone) said she's not even in the running, her name was just brought up in some papers, but it's not true
