Despite the Fall 2011 trend of long-sleeved gowns, our red carpet favourites like Jessica Chastain braved the cold in London tonight wearing sleeveless gowns on the red carpet for the 2012 BAFTA Awards.

Jessica wore an Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2012 gown.

Her pleated lamé mousseline gown with a plunging neckline was styled with a gorgeous diamond-encrusted necklace and embellished platform shoes.

The ‘can’t-clutch, won’t clutch’ actress styled her hair into loose waves and added a orangey-red lip colour to complete her look.

TIME’s annual Oscars portfolio showcases each year’s best performers through a portfolio of striking portraits. Tears, giggles, pranks and emotions ran high, and loads of laughter pealed through the studio during this year’s shoot, which resulted in a series of images and short films photographed and directed by Sebastian Kim. It was our most ambitious Oscars shoot yet. We had just three days to photograph and film 12 world-class actors during their busiest time of the year

Jessica Chastain has been on a bit of an Alexander McQueen roll on the red carpet at the moment.

The Oscar-nominated actress donned her third Alexander McQueen look within a week to the ‘Vanities’ 20th anniversary party at Siren Studios in Hollywood, California last night, following her McQueen looks at the BAFTA nominees party and the 2012 Elle Style Awards.

On this occasion she wore a look from the most recent Spring 2012 collection.

She paired the barnacle jacquard pencil skirt with a cleavage-baring peplum jacket.

The hands-free actress completed her look with a high, long ponytail and hot red lips to prevent this look from washing her out.
