Jessica Lucas (born September 24, 1985) is a Canadian actress. She is perhaps best known for her work on CSI:Crime Scene Investigation and for her appearance as Sue Miller in Life As We Know It, acting alongside Amanda Bynes and Channing Tatum in She's the Man, and acting alongside Steven Strait and Laura Ramsey in The Covenant.
Biography
Lucas was born and raised in Vancouver , British Columbia having been acting since she was only seven years old. Beginning her professional training with Children's Theatre Arts. She earned theatre credits in local productions of "Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs," "Grease," "Cinderella," "Mousetrap" and "Music Medley." She was also a series regular on the popular Canadian teen show Edgemont, along with Kristin Kreuk.
Lucas joined the cast of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in its 2007 season, playing a new character, Ronnie Lake. The character, once a temporary "band aid" to replace Sara Sidle, has been announced as a recurring character on the show. She also plays the role of Lily in the movie Cloverfield, which was released in January 2008.
Lucas currently resides in Vancouver.
