About her
Jessica White is an American model from IMG agency; she was born in Buffalo on June 22nd 1984. She lives in New York.


Career
Scouted at the age of 15 in her native Buffalo, she then moved to New York at 16, to follow her dream. Since then, an ever ascending career. "I've done so many things, that I can't recall them all." At 26, with already 13 years of career behind, Jessica posed for the most important fashion magazines in the world, modeled for big fashion brands, and was the face of beauty products ads.


Determination and hard work
When she met Tyra Banks at 16 her life changed and she thought "I'd like to be like Tyra Banks." Therefore she decided to pursue her professional career in the world of fashion. And Jessica has fulfilled her dreams. She often says she was lucky, but she also admits she has worked hard and committed herself. "I was very determined."


The future
She has many future professional projects: a book, a perfume, and a dream of producing a film.


Charity
Jessica is very committed for her foundation Angel Wings, which supports young women who are victims of abuses. "I'd like to give people the hope and help I didn't have, and that I had to learn by myself."


Not everyone knows that
Jessica never starts her day without taking a moment of solitude to read her journal or poetry.


Her hair
"My hair is my protection". With perfect hair, Jessica feels beautiful.

She has 17 tattoos, which are a testimony of her "gothic girl" and punk-rock past.

She says she has the same passions any other girl has: like bowling or family barbecues.

Jessica's wildest side emerges with her borderline passions: like bungee jumping, that she practices every year.


Her beauty secret
"I drink a lot of water", she says, "and I try to purify my skin and body". Furthermore, as she has to wear a lot of makeup for work, when she doesn't work she usually prefers keeping her skin really clear.


Shopping
Resurrection in New York. That's a vintage clothing and accessories store, Jessica's favorite. She is attracted to the allure of timeless clothing, which has the extraordinary capacity of renovating itself without following trends.

Sometimes at events I think she looks a little trashy, which is a shame because she really is beautiful and in that Italian Vogue video it's painfully clear what a stunner she is. I wish she would do more in fashion.
