I was just correcting what I hear so many people say everyday. I'm mixed (Irish/British/Barbadian), but I consider myself West-Indian American. I have had people tell me I'm beatiful, what am I mixed with, when I tell them they say " I knew you were mixed with something, you're too pretty to be straight black" like it's a compliment!
