Sure it's pretty, but the light, airy look of these pictures is what I expected from this collection. I was just hoping the photographer/stylists would go for something unexpected, but alas, they didn't.

That was actually my first observation as well.

I love the mood, as always, really, but are these actual scanned ads? Or just outtakes or something? Because they look a little... unfinished.

no metal here, but, hasn't Rizzo been styling the ads ever since Raf took over?. not that it couldn't change but my vague bet is on him this time too.. or at least that's what I'm wishing.. the result is breathtaking and that's what he tends to deliver next to Vanderperre.
I cannot wait to see this in real size.. I lovelovelove how Raf's vision unfolds every season in such a discreet and elegant way that's so faithfully Jil Sander.. with the help of his Belgian elves, of course .. they've truly done a wonderful job emphasizing the line of purity and minimalism of the brand to a point where it's highly forward but still so representative in ideal.

different route than expected, but these are so so beautiful! i'm happily surprised that they used sheer pieces instead of the blocks of bold color that made up most of the collection. i can't wait to see more -- and bigger.
