Jimmy Choo Handbags

MIss_Frou_Frou: I agree! This bag feels a lot more "grown up" than most of the bags I fall for and I love that about it.

The navy is a beautiful bag. It's got that versatility about it. A roomy size, good for everyday as well as weekend occasions, and it has a classic styling about it.Has a real casual/elegant appeal to it. So tired of seeing Balenciaga around. This bag seems a breath of fresh air .

I couldn't agree more. After seeing so many pictures of this bag, I caved and bought one, a navy ramona :woot:. It's such a welcome change from the monstrosities balenciaga bags have become - I'm not tired of seeing the older bags, but I am tired of seeing the new, terrible quality bags. If you look at the current leather, it has a marbled effect! Now their dye process has gone down hill  OR because of the terrible leather, the dye no longer saturates like it used to. What a shame because I once truly adored these bags .

I'm ready for a newer/updated bag that is classic with a little bit of rock & roll all rolled up into one. I just can't wait until it gets here :woot:.

balbabe, can't wait til you get your bag!! i hope you love it! i love mine - and totally agree with miss_frou_frou about the classiness of this one..

and janyoung and greendrv, i'm so sorry you didn't love your bags as well.. but there's so many pretty ones around that i'm sure you'll find some that you love!

You must post up some pictures when you receive your bag. It really is a true classic and I think , because of it's casual/elegant style , it will stand the test of time. Best of all it seems such a practical bag to use. You can carry as a tote or as a shoulder bag. You can use it as an everyday bag or you could use it as a special occasion bag.

I agree with you in regards to the Balenciaga bags recently. The leather is not what it used to be. :innocent:

jimmy choo in the uk received some stone ramonas today!... you can place an order direct and they'll take care of the vat and post it to you. pm me if you'd like their contact details.

I just got one of these. It's called the Theola Ramona ! It's very very beautiful and classic and the beauty of it is the leather . It seems unscratchable . It's that type of smooth leather that you can just rub and things just disappear. Reminds me of the Birkin leather smoothness and durability. A very beautiful bag that is classic for those that are tired of the IT bags that are copied everywhere.:innocent:

it is a very beautiful bag Miss Frou Frou :flower: .....problem nowadays is this will most likely be an "it" bag which all clebs will have soon and will probably be copied ...*sigh*

Did anyone watch Oprah today? The lady behind Jimmy Choo was on and they had a runway show. Several Ramona bags were being held by the models.

No I missed it. Did it look great?
Glad this bag isn't causing too much commotion. Cannot stand it if it became an IT bag and spurned a Choo fake ramona bag revolution:innocent:

yay! I just put a navy Ramona on hold for me at the Bond St. store! I'm so excited! I'm going to run down there after work today and pick it up! I cannot wait! I agree, I don't mind minimal exposure but nothing too much.

It looked great. Not as slouchy as I thought it might be. She didn't mention a word about it.

Marc Jacobs was on too. When the model came out carrying a Stam he said the name of the bag and that it was doing very well for them. Oprah brought out the LV that he had designed. I'm sure they're going to be sold out everywhere now.

Tamara Mellon is the woman from Jimmy Choo. Mentioned in other threads, but I ordered the Ramona from the Bond St. store today and i'm planning on heading over and picking it up after work. I cannot wait! I tried it on quickly at harvey nichols and loved it there so I can't wait to get to JC and try it on in person and purchase!!

:woot: I picked up my Ramona today at the Bond St. boutique after work and it's fantastic! Such great leather and a wonderful shape. I can't wait to start using it  :woot:
