Jimmy Choo Handbags

Thanks all for your feedback! Shedonnia, I think I have a similar "issue"... I purchased a couple of JC handbags last season, used them 3-4 times, and sold them on ebay... I have worn JC shoes for years, but was "uncomfortable" with the handbags for some reason... I also don't like to "match", but I have been wearing other shoe labels most recently...

That being said, I have seen pics of the Ramona and I think it comes across as a very classy/interesting bag. I like to carry slightly large bags during the week so that I can get away with "handbag as tote" for work... I have also been on a major Chloe/Balenciaga binge and am thinking about branching out a bit again...

(But, I am in love with a few recent Chloe purchases and have some concerns about being able to actually use all of my bags. Back to the, well, if I could use Ramona as "handbag as tote"...she would then serve a definite multi-purpose function in my life...)

yes the ramona is a great handbag as tote but I carry it out sometimes in the evening too. I like to wear big unconventional bags sometimes in the evening as opposed to my traditional clutches.

Let us know what you decide :flower:

I just got the Ramona in chocolate today and I am loving how soft and slouchy it is. I was scared it would be too similar to my Rosso. But with the different handles and bigger, softer shape, it looks different on me.

SoCal, this is probably late, but I've got a navy Ramona and have had it for about 1 month - and I love, love, love this bag!!! :flower: It's kinda slouchy so even when I stuff it full of stuff it looks good (not bulgy or anything) - and the leather is super soft.. and I'm not normally a shiny gold person (in fact, I tend towards silver in jewelry and hardware) but for some reason I think it really works on this bag - the gold is bold, and really stands out on the bag. And I'm pretty rough on my bags as well - no scratches yet (knock on wood!). Good luck and let us know what you decide!!

Thanks all! Will go in to "audition" the Ramona tomorrow.

ooh congrats sofibella! :woot: I agree, this bag is brilliant. Still haven't seen anyone else around carrying it as well which is quite nice as well

Amalie it's nowhere near heavy IMO. I think the Paddy and the Stam are close in weight but not the Ramona. It's very light. What were you carrying in it?

It's just so much purse! Just my wallet, sunglasses, keys, makeup bag. I think with the hardware etc. its heavy!

I guess my Paddys and Stam have built up my strength... I find the Ramona super light as well! I said somewhere else I think it just has good weight distribution because it feels SO comfy on my shoulder.

I was amused this morning because I noticed my right bicep was sore and I seriously thought it was from carrying my Stam! I then remembered I was lifting heavy boxes yesterday but I wouldn't have been surprised if my bag arm got a little workout too.

 Handbag weight training programs!

That is so true  !

My sis was lamenting that my Stam was on the heavy side when I gave her my Paddy to try on B)

Now, I'm kinda regretting not sticking with my Ramona purchase from BG.com, sensibility be damned....oh well!

hahaha aww PrincessImp.....you could always get it shipped :innocent:

I say go for it PrincessImp! I love mine. I don't have the Stam or Paddy to compare it to, but it is not heavy compared to my other bags. The leather is so luscious.

those of you with the stone who've used it for while -- how is it holding up?

Thank you, thank you all for your Ramona feedback. I purchased the chocolate Ramona this afternoon. The bag is incredible...classy, interesting, fun, etc. I am thrilled!

JC SCP also had 2-3 pieces of the new bag that looks like the Ramona, but is a bit smaller. It is quite nice for those that like the Ramona style, but find it to be too large. The Ramona is actually the perfect size for me. I had virtually no expectations, so could not be happier about the bag!

Will post pics tomorrow!

I have both and trust me, the Ramona is the lightest of all three.

Stone is holding up very nicely. I've used it for two weeks but retired because of a turquoise suede jacket (didn't want to take the chance).

I sprayed the hell out of it with applegarde though.

hahaha I haven't protected mine because I heard it was not necessary but glad that it had no ill effects. Congrats SoCal!!! :woot: Cannot wait to see the pics! I agree, the ramona is the perfect size!

So excited! Here is chocolate Ramona...
