I don't think a Givenchy or Chanel exclusive is all that far-fetched. I could see that being the case. She needs some prestigious bookings or an exclusive in the next few days, otherwise this season is very disappointing considering she's the #1 top model of the world right now.

I'm pretty sure Joan has either an Exclusive or Semi- Exclusive like her first break through season.

It would be terribly sad to be exclusive and no campaign to show for it.

Not that I'm worried. Joan has always been more of a campaign girl than anything else.

I've noticed the same thing. Milan was better than usual (which doesn't say much) but Paris has been a wasteland for models of color this season-not just Joan. Anecdotally, this seems like one of the worst Parisian seasons, at least for models of color, in the last couple of years.

If the top modeling agency in the world can't book the top working model in the world that is, in my opinion, a pretty strong indictment of Paris.

I'm sorry, but I just don't believe that Joan isn't booking these shows in her 6th season at IMG, especially when she booked them before she became this established. And I'm not trying to belittle the issue of race that's happening right now, but Joan has always been an "the black girl" that gets booked for shows. It's clear that she wasn't a Givenchy exclusive, so I maybe she took a job that caused her to skip the first few days? IDK, maybe I'm being blinded by bias, but I think the more reasonable theory to her absence is that she's busy with other things. She's the #1 model, not some filler who can't book shows.
