I'm over here dying right now too!! The more pictures I look at of her with the VS angels, the more real it becomes that she might be one herself now. She better be after all this anticipation. The only reason why she wouldn't get a VS contract is maybe because her EL contract won't allow her. I really hope that's not the case, but we don't know how tight of a contract she signed. Daria Werbowy had to choose between Lancome & VS. Let's pray that Joan isn't put in the same position.

After those VS shoots Joan is now shooting for H&M summer 2015 with Doutzen Kroes, Lara Stone & Natasha Poly because Joan posted a photo on Instagram from the same beach location on Antigua

IF and with caps IF Joan is shooting for H&M swim I'm a bit sceptical about her being a VS angel since VS doesn't allow her angel work with big brands like that.
I know Doutzen did. I remember her saying in a interview on television in 2013 that she wanted to end her contract with VS for H&M. In the end VS didn't want to let her go and made a exception. I don't think VS would allow Joan to work with H&M.

Seeing the girls for VS swim it are angels (but no Karlie) and heavenly used catalogue and promotiongirls. I would not be suprised if they contracted her to promote VS and do stuff for them.

Still fingers crossed for her as an angel. Such a beautiful women.

^It's being shot by Lachlan Bailey though, so I'm 99% sure it's for H&M. And maybe I'm being delusional, but if Karlie can have a L'Oreal contract & shoot for H&M, then I don't see why Joan can't do EL & H&M. And doesn't Alessandra have her own swimwear line? Every angel's contract is different it seems. Notice how Karlie only turns up for the big stuff at VS & is rarely in the catalogues while Lily Aldridge & Behati do everything big & small for the company. I bet Karlie's agents played hardball with VS when they were negotiating her contract. Joan's management is pretty darn great, so maybe they could work out the same type of agreement that Karlie has. This is all wishful thinking, of course.

^It's not for S/S 15. That campaign has already been released (Lara OG), & it's way too late to shoot Spring campaigns anyway. Companies start shooting campaign about 3 or 4 months before they are released, so this is either H&M Summer, H&M Swim or H&M Pre-Fall. Seeing that they're in Antigua, my bet is on H&M Swim.

That group of angels looks pretty amazing in my opinion. A more cohesive group than some of the variations out there (IMO Karlie is still out of place even if I do like her as a model, and Elsa is too similar to Candice I feel). Joan would fit right in!

If she doesn't become an angel after this then it's their loss! That really is a perfect lineup (+Karlie). Joan looks spectacular with all the girls.

I really dont know much about how VS picks its angels etc but how many angels do they normally have? Did Elsa replace Doutzen? And I agree, they all look amazing here.

^They currently have 7 (Adriana, Ale, Candice, Karlie, Behati, Lily & Elsa), but it's been around 8-10 angels for the past 5 years or so. I wouldn't be surprised if they hired 2 more angels this year. I want the 2 to be Joan & Shanina.

And I'm pretty sure Elsa replaced Lindsey Ellingson. She got promoted from PINK to mainline immediately after the news broke about Lindsey leaving.
