That Tony Awards red carpet moment was orchestrated by Anna Wintour. Apparently she wanted to bring more fashion to the Tony Awards.
I'm sure Anna made sure Joan and other models and industry folks were invited.

And IMO, what Anna say goes!

^I always have mixed feelings about Anna. On the one hand, I love that she's been supportive of models like Joan and Chanel Iman. On the other, I absolutely loathe some of the cookie-cutter choices she makes in regards to the people in Vogue US covers.

It's not confirmed, but it's pretty obvious that Joan is in this season's Dsquared2 campaign. Some of the male models that were a part of the shoot with her have images released, & of course Caroline Trentini is in it. This better be the start of Joan overload! She's been a ghost these past few months.
