She looks nice. I just wish that the designers who still have interest in her were, you know…good. I really don't like most of these recent Balmain collections, but Joan makes it work, as usual.

Me too, & shows that separate her from Gigi & Kendall. I think people are forgetting that before Joan was an "instagirl" she was still a very successful HF model in her own right. Her legacy is being tarnished because of her association with these nep-girls. She is a real supermodel & I want her to be in more shoots with icons, not wannabes. And when is the last time she got an OG cover/campaign? I'm sure she's getting paid big bucks to be the "token black girl" in these campaigns with large casts, but I'd rather her go back to booking smaller OG stuff & work her way back up in HF. She has slipped a bit in terms of prestige, I must admit. Even with four major campaigns this season it feels like she isn't getting the same amount of buzz she once got. I would love for her to be a Tom Ford exclusive next season & snatch an OG campaign from him. And a big Vogue cover! Her last one was 6 months ago. She needs a boost.

^I'm glad she closed Mugler and happy to see her working with Karl again.
She definitely needs more Vogue covers, but it seems like I'm always complaining about that...

I feel like she has some big projects coming up. There's a reason why she's a Supermodel and I'm still obsessed with her.
I can always count on Joan to surprise me by booking major campaigns, that I would never expect from her;-)

At this point, I expect her to be selective but she has been especially quiet lately. Her not being at Givenchy was a big shock to me too. I always miss her sexy, strong walk in shows... a lot of these newbies could learn a thing or two
