I've been out of the country for a while so I've just been able to get back into my fashion obsession (lol) and spent a couple hours reading up on the hundreds of pages I've missed on some of my fav models.

I just wanted to randomly recount how when Joan was having a brilliant FW 2010 startout in NYC, someone mentioned very happily how they bet she would be at Prada! Then someone (shall remain nameless) very curtly and shortly said "no she won't...she's too tough in the face" and I've seen that person post other places before and they just seem to be a Joan hater...well, fast forward a week or two and then she showed up at Prada. I just thought it was really interesting and cool, because I was reading the forum posts and it read like a book to me, how wrong he was.

ok...enough of my rando-randomness. Love Joan. I remember years back wondering why Elite wasn't managing her the way they should have. They must be kicking themselves now, that's for sure.
