I have to say that I really like how often either her name or pic was used in the August issue of Vogue. Even in Anna's letter when she referred to her as a star. Love it!!

You're pretty much saying what we're all thinking.
I've dislike the vast majority of Joan's V.S. catalogue shots. She looked absolutely gorgeous on the the runway show.

Victoria Secret really needs to tone it down when it comes to sharpness on Photoshop.

Joan is not the only one; they've even done it to the gorgeous Karlie and many other fresh faced girls.
If you compared the models VS shots to candids you can clearly see how fresh faced they are.

It's a shame.

I think it's just bad lighting, they always shoot her inside and with a darker/gray-ish background.

Yeah, I was gonna say, if you go in other model threads and see some of the VS pics, they do have an issue with over sharpening, weird lighting, etc. I find it mostly an issue with those indoor/solid background shots.

It's commonly known. It's just because of her strong features (jaw, nose etc) that with the wrong make up she looks a bit manly. No offense really.
