wow. i say this from an entirely unbiased perspective -- trust me, i'm usually very critical of 'models-acting' -- but Joan genuinely did an excellent job in that video. she's got a commanding presence on screen and she managed to be emotional and subtle and natural. i don't know if she's been taking acting lessons or if this is a one-off job, but she has some potential.

I pretty sure her Fendi days are over. No model has ever had a non-consecutive run at Fendi. It's either back-to-back seasons or just a one time thing when it comes to Fendi.

Aaaaah I figured out why you think that. Both of them posted pics on instagram of a shoot they did with a stylist(?) whose instagram name is @marialenacima & Joan has Fendi stuff in the background of her picture. Interesting….

Joan had to fly to Paris soon after the VSFS. That's the reason she wasn't at after party.
Also Nadja, Joan and Sam McKnight all had pictures of the Eiffel Tower at night.
Sam McKnight always works with Karl.
Nadja Bender is current Karl favorite.

So maybe...
