According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kyle Hagler left IMG models to become president of Next New York.

I wonder what this will mean for Joan?

I'm assuming she'll make the switch to Next.

If Kyle is going to be the president of Next, then maybe Next is the right agency for her. I'm all for the move if Kyle still wants to manage her. It worries me that she might end up in the wrong hands of someone else over at IMG. Kyle has done a perfect job at balancing her HF & commercial bookings. Someone else might turn her into a commercial girl who can't book HF gigs anymore. It's not like that hasn't happened before at IMG….

IMG is the place to be, BUT I believe Kyle has played a MAJOR part in Joan getting where she is in the industry. Management can make or break a career. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
