Joe Manganiello shows off his rustic spirit in a cowboy-influenced photo shoot with Flaunt Magazine. We previewed Evan Rachel Wood’s racy shoot with the same magazine last week; Joe’s photo spread reflects the rugged appeal of the All-American cowboy.
In his interview with the magazine, the 35-year-old actor goes in-depth about the intrigue of the supernatural in society and how True Blood fits within that discussion – beyond the nudity, sex and blood. He also shows some true love for getting his break on the show and playing the character Alcide Herveaux:
“I really didn’t feel like I fit in until I got True Blood…I’ve never been more fulfilled in my entire life, from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep at night. I always felt like something was missing, and I don’t anymore.”
It is only logical that he would want the same relief to arrive for Alcide, admitting, “I just love the guy, who he is, who he aspires to be.”
