^Not really (For me), but I love Urs

Those shots of her and Irina are simply adorable ^_^

She's on the cover of Summer 2007 DV Mode. I didn't get it yet, but I'll scan it once I do.

It's nice a mag, and while their covers are never spectacular, I like how they always feature a Swedish model.

Johana is a very sweet, humble girl:)Exchanged a few words with her.

I got it today. Not a great issue editorial wise, and Johanna doesn't have an ed, just one pic to go with a feature/interview.

You'll have to wait for Olga for scans  but I translated her interview. :flower:

On The Cover: Johanna Jonsson

15-year-old Johanna Jonsson is Sweden's fastest rising star on the international modeling scene. During this season's fashion weeks, she did no less than 30 runway shows.

It has been a quick journey. Less than two years have passed since Johanna Jonsson sent a couple of photos to Elite Models in Stockholm. Those pictures took her a long way. Johanna was chosen as a finalist in Elite's annual international modeling contest, Elite Model Look, in Shanghai. She ended up in third place out of 65 contestans. Since that moment, her career has skyrocketed. Now Johanna Jonsson is a name being whispered at the shows in Paris and Milan. Raf Simons, head designer at Jil Sander, spotted her early, which resulted in a spot in the rejuvenated label's Spring campaign. In addition, she recently shot a campaign for a new Marc Jacobs fragrance. The shoot took place in Hawaii along with, among others, model Johanna Stickland. It was a seven-figure deal (my note: SEK, not USD, I assume) for Johanna Jonsson.

However, modeling is not completely free of dangers. Last season, at a Milan casting in September 2006, things got ugly. Johanna and a few model colleagues were sitting on a glass table when the tabletop suddenly gave away under the pressure, and broke into a thousand pieces. At first, Johanna did not notice anything wrong, but when the other models started screaming, she realized that her arm had been "sliced like a pizza".

- You could see all the way down to the bone, she recalls.

There was blood everywhere, and Johanna went by ambulance to the hospital, where they put her arm together with 100 stitches. A 25 cm long scar reminds her of the accident. But the injury, or a future scar, was not the worst thing for Johanna. Because of the accident, she had to cancel all shows that season.

But if Fall 2006 (ie SS07) was a lost season, Johanna Jonsson came back full force this year. In New York, she walked exclusively for Calvin Klein. In Milan she did 15 shows for the likes of Prada, Burberry, Marni, and Jil Sander. And finally in Paris, she did another 15 shows, including Chanel, Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, Kenzo, and John Galliano.

As we speak, Johanna is on option for prestigious campaigns for Sportmax, Balenciaga, and Armani, as well as two different Calvin Klein campaigns. She wants to focus on school until Summer, after that, she is not sure.

- I would like to work for at least five more years. Provided my look isn't completely out of style by next year, that is...

There are a few examples of "older" models still working after 30, like Kate Moss. But Johanna has ideas of becoming a photographer later on. Several top models, for instance Helena Christensen and Nadja Auermann, have made that career move to the other side of the camera.

how much would a seven figure deal in SEK be in us dollars?

1 USD = 7 SEK. Roughly.

So anything from 150.000 USD to 1.5 million USD..

Saracita & OlgaKorbut, thank you both so much.:flower:

i'm glad she's fine now after having that awful accident. Poor girl!
