While most actresses and socialites are perfectly at home being photographed and sitting in the front row at fashion shows, don't include Joy Bryant in that group. The actress and former model is hard at work this week, pairing her notebook with her outfits at Hervé Léger, Matthew Williamson, Michael Kors, and Monique Lhuillier (Zac Posen and Alice Temperley remain) as part of an ongoing diary she is keeping on her Fashion Week adventures for Los Angeles-based C Magazine. "It lets me express my creative side when I'm not doing films," she explained. "Plus, it's been a lot of fun to sort of look at fashion from those who really have to pay attention to the clothes." Bryant added that she'd much rather be filming, and is sympathetic to the striking writers. "The assignment was officially confirmed at the end of last week," added Jennifer Smith Hale, C Magazine's founder and chairman. But it's not all hard work and no play. "I was either coming to Fashion Week or going snowboarding in Colorado," Bryant smiled.
