Not sure if it was ever mentioned on here but according to her wikipedia page Juana is of Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Amerindian, and Malagasy-African ancestry. What a unique and absolutely gorgeous mix of ethnicities!

I believe it could be her skin tone/marketability. It's very rare to see Latina models in the industry and when you do, they are mainly Afro-Latinas from the Dominican Republic/Puerto Rico or other Caribbean islands. I honestly think her agency could be doing more for her, but she really does have her moments. Booking the Vogue Paris "editorial" by Mario Testino a while back, which honestly should have been a cover. She just doesn't have the right kind of people supporting her at the moment, I think Testino should be backing her 100% and collaborating with her as much as he can. As a Peruvian I can really only wish the best for Juana, hopefully her time to fully shine will come

I think that's fabricated by someone. She looks 100% super indigenous. And there's no source quoted either.

You never know, I'm Peruvian and I have Ghanian, French, Spanish and Native ancestry and one would never be able to tell. But it could be fabricated but she is definitely Preuana indigena, at least 50% or so.
