Wolves ?

You know what ? As far as fashion trends often find their roots in emerging cultural movements of their time, these pics seem inspired by ideas originating in a book that was quite often cited around me recently (last year actually) : "Women Who Run with the Wolves". It was written by Clarissa Pinkola Estes. She is a renowned psychotherapist, from the Jungian school of thought I guess.

The book is very easy to read. It didn't fascinate me to say the truth. But to my surprise, it did fascinate most if not all of the women who read it around me.

It is composed of a succession of tales, myths, legends, from a lot of places in the world, and their interpretation. It's a big book - the copy is in front of me right now, 763 pages...

The idea is that "a healthy woman is much like a wolf", that most women have been cut from their genuine roots and that they must find again, to live full and healthy lives, preserved deep in themselves, the "Wild Woman".

The very woman pictured here ? An emerging trend ? Who knows ?

;)

I wonder why she only did London this season. I'm guessing her height could be an issue but she did manage to book good shows and that face structure of hers is undeniably beautiful. She is indeed amazing in print.

But how... about... this one : ( :innocent: )

(Due to "Niklaus with a K")

Hello people of the world!

Funny thing my pic of Julia would end up here... (not really!?) ;o)
Tell me Señor Pacific Blue, how did you find it...? Google...?

Julia is in New York at the moment (now you know where to look).

Have a swell weekend!

Yours truly,
TheCokeBadger (aka. Niklas with a K)

^ So strong in print. It is really exceptional how good she looks with even the craziest makeup, styling, she has the makings of a great print model. That cover is sensational!
