I agree, she doesn't rock those poses like her mumma does, but we can give her credit for trying, she does have pretty big Alaia's to fill.

Julia Restoin-Roitfeld mentioned a few months ago:that she was working on a lingerie collection; today, Kiki de Montparnasse announced that they've designed a collaborative range with her, available Wednesday, December 14 in their boutiques and online. Roitfeld tells Elle.com that she was tired of seeing bras that wouldn't work for womanly figures. "A little while ago, the downtown trend in New York was to wear a 'bandeau' bra that you would see popping out of the side of your shirt. I guess it works for very, very small breasts, but for me, it would just be plain unflattering," she explained. Her collection is comprised up of pinup-worthy lace bras and form-fitting bustiers.

^ So excited to see this collection in full. This in my opinion is a perfect collaboration for her.

I'm sure this collection will make great Christmas presents. Perfect timing. I know I would love to find one of those sets under my tree.

Her Kiki collection isn't on the website, though it was supposed to launch today?

Kiki de Julia
Julia Restoin-Roitfeld‘s fashion pedigree is unmatched; as the daughter of former Vogue Paris EIC, Carine Roitfeld, she’s blessed with an innate sense of chic, but it is her refined sexiness and unique personal style that have made her a fashion icon in her own right. Until recently Roitfeld has shined as an art director and Lancome face, but the Parisian beauty steps into a new role as designer, with a capsule collection for luxury lingerie brand Kiki de Montparnasse. Her streamlined collection of boudoir staples is every bit as romantic and sensual as you’d expect, with lace and satin creating classic shapes worthy of pin up girls. At last night’s fête to celebrate the collection’s launch, industry elite oohed and aahed over the undies, but they also took time out to play with a few of Kiki De Montparnasse’s eccentric objects d’art – when gold handcuffs and lacy masks abound, who can resist?
here are some photos from the event

more can be seen at models.com (I only used the ones featuring Julia)

Oh wow I didn't know she was doing a collaboration with Kiki! I love their things- a bit pricey for me but great for a super special occasion :)

I am sort of irritated at Kiki for not selling the Reston-Roitfield collaboration online. If you're going to do a collaboration why not make it possible for people to buy outside of one area? And I was looking forward to this collection! It seems so few lingerie designers design for women who actual have breasts, which is why the world gets things like bandeau bras.

I'll be in NYC in March, but I wanted to check out the collection online before I went to the store so I'd have a rough idea of what I'd want to get/try on.

That's really too bad. I thought for sure it would be available online (that would've been the smart thing to do :innocent:). Well if you do get a chance to check out her collection in person please let us know!
