Those two outfits are straight forwarddumb, without a doubt, the others polite and commercial - But without much a cohesive thread running connecting it all, like most better designers would offer.
Truth be told, Dries van Noten has never been the brand for laser-sharp focus - Instead relying on the beauty of eclecticism for a less cerebral and more joyful expression than his Belgian contemporaries.
I would guess that is the kind of motto Mr. Klausner is working under, not thinking too deeply and just letting the gut direct him to his end result - Leading him to this 'what‘s in the air' fashion-y attitude Dries avoided more in his work.
From a buyer‘s perspective, I guess it shouldn‘t be too difficult to do your edit the way a Dries collection by Dries would look like in the store - As some of you mentioned before, they have an expansive range and Klausner has worked long enough in the house to understand what works and is needed to perform decently in the shop.
