For some odd reason, the hats remind me of Bowzer from Super Mario Brothers. I like the jackets and coats though.

^ hahaha! now that you mention it..... and are the models not asphyxiating from the plastic? its typical yohji...cool, but i think i will prefer Ys as usual...

Wow... this is interesting... in a really good way for the most part, although I'm not sure about the camo in the last look on post 3. I'm not sure I'd actually wear anything here so far (except for a couple of the coats), but it's an intense looking collection.

yohji......
it's not yohji...it's junya....:p

the head pieces are ...

thx for posting these brian...

Yikes. Not so keen on this on first sight. Very "hard" again, even ignoring the frightning headpieces. It's always exciting to see what he'll come up with, but really not sure about this so far. Big bovva boots, straps accross the chest (like homme plus from summer 2000); quite aggressive.

Thanks for the posting, brian:-)

JW is "agressive" for the first tinme:-) Military!!!!

The jkt with belt is very Comme.

Also Comme AW collection with razors and lips prints.

The back of the jkts. Very "costumery". I like it:-)

ha! i don't know where my head was... was reading about the greats on the CFD website and out it came. no offense to mr yamamoto or mr watanabe :innocent:

i like the jackets. Most pieces are very wearable minus the headdress

I am not digging the ceranraps... we discussed the bag over a model's head in Viktor & Rolf S/S 05, but this is much more discutable... big big turn-off.

I believe...and I may be totally wrong, that the Seran Wrap is there because those shapes and hats have actually been molded to the models heads. I remember back in art class where we made actually masks from our faces, the Seran Wrap was placed down and then the doughy sort of mixture over it and when it hardened, it popped right off without anything sticking to your face thanks to the Seran Wrap. Even the extreme mohawks seem to be attached to a head piece that looks molded from the models' heads.

I don't think the wrap is some kind of statement about strangling women...though if could be about preserving beauty...

The bag at V&R was no statement either... statement or no statement, artsy or not, seranwrap around a model's face goes to far for my sake...
