i'm certainly not a Cavalli girl,
but i'd be blind if i couldnt notice a change in the style,
both for the Cavalli line and for the 'cheaper' Just Cavalli collection..

here some looks from his 'diffusion' line :flower:

pay no attention to the silly hats please

last, draped and quite influenced from Sophia K. :innocent:

The Matador trousers would be great if it weren't for the colours

Nice shapes. I see a definite influence of Dior/Balenciaga here.

I'm loving it
like this more than the Cavalli line.

great choices, Lena :flower:

i know, i was also surprised by the new 'air' at the Cavalli 'main' line..
his colours there, are gorgeous

there is such a power in creative styling,
its obvious he's been working with a new team

i have to admit...i didn't even bother looking at this collection...i just assumed it would be the same old same old...what a pleasant surprise...thank you lena, for bringing this up...

well... that was a lesson... i really should be looking at absolutely everything and taking notes...huh...

thanks again lena :flower:

i know, thats what i've been doing, going through all collections
while working for my clients..
teams and designer houses do change directions and style
they cannot be taken for granded..

unfortunately, one needs to see all - yes it can be tiring- but quite very useful
(for those like you & me softgrey) research research.. i even see Versace and Versus, it can be a pain
