JW Anderson F/W 2021.22 London

TBH I not really warm with anything that Jonathan have created for his own house since the pandemic started. It's just too pretentious, clearly there is no one on his team help him to refine his ideas so everything is just to conceived trying to be "intellectual".

But his Loewe is always perfect between intellectual ideas mixed with touch of sophisticate and quirky. So as long as his Loewe still good, I can looks past his own eponymous brand.

Jonathan seems to be living in a beautifully crafted bubble. That's alarming, because his work is getting more and more pretentious and heavy. It's great that he's a geek when it comes to ceramics, but he still needs to learn how to make a good use of that. Here, all the dresses need to go. Their silhouettes are extreme and while it's fantastic that he's been experimenting, this time he went too far. The outerwear is the strongest part of this collection, it's graphic without looking ridiculous. The rest is just unconvincing and Juergen made it even worse.

This concept is humiliating which immediately reminds me of the disabled beggars in China. Ethically, I don't think it's right to profit from them, given yours is a high fashion brand.

he needs to stop to want to bring "art" into his fashion and presentations. He doesnt have energy balls power for it. It makes him neclect fashion. The clothes look really bad

Pains me every time I see a designer go like this. From glorious Loewe collections when he began to things like this. It is becoming too artsy, his personal tastes overtake the commerce and it becomes too self-absorbed and complex to digest. In case of someone like Hedi, it is at least easy to digest and rather pedestrian, but here it is too niche. I does not speak to me - I don't want to look this artsy, and neither do I want to be a an art university fashion collection model or an amputee woman. I know it is the age of acceptance, "luvin urself no metter what" and so on, but this honestly just makes me slightly uncomfortable.
