JW Anderson Resort 2024 & Menswear S/S 2024 Milan

I like it. It still has some weird elements but it is a strong commercial collection.

It's a very successful co-ed show because the men and women looks are perfectly balanced without one outshining the other.
My favorite looks are look number 7 and 35. Those two coats are so eye-catching.
The two dresses with the folding details are gorgeous.

Great collection, I hope he continues with this direction because this is the right formula for him.

It's a bit repetitive, but there's some interesting feeling of freshness going through the collection. There are also many references to the early years of JW Anderson done really well. I think the simplicity of this offering is its biggest asset and that's exactly the direction Jonathan should explore further.

I like it more than I would expect myself to. Those draped striped leather dresses are rather chic and the looser pants I enjoy the cut of (loose but not excessively so).

But I can't stand the gimmicks nor the repetition. I know that is JW's thing, but seeing something used so much depletes the impact.

Mixed feelings about it even if it appears more commercial and I like commercialism from JWA.
He is good at Knitwear and shirting. Those are the things I feel like I want to see every season from him but I don’t know why he doesn’t simply allow himself to be commercial at his own brand.

I would be very frustrated if I attended one of those shows. There are a lot of « almost there » moments in this collection and yet not a strong proposition in a way.

At Loewe, he can eliminate all his gimmicks because his clever way of using the craftsmanship can elevate the most basic thing.
