You got me here. I can't remember the last time a newcomer have done a lot of key shows and get the most hype out of it. The media has already played the angle and the overhype (your mileage may vary) has now begun to surface somehow. Yes, I see her as a better model compared to those three, but when the media started to christen her as the new Kendall (just one media to be fair), I'm not sure whether I will be on Team Kaia or not for the rest of my life.

Other than that, I have mixed reactions for this girl, but nevertheless, I wish her a good luck.

She is stunning... yes, Cindy's fame and influence are involved but she's amazing... almost too beautiful for today's modelling... I mean Bella looks awful on the catwalk, Kendull beyond bland and I can see how ***ism helps there but Kaia has amazing presence and she walks like a pro!

Me too—always found Cindy too commercial for my liking (excepting her work with Helmut Newton) and her whole cornfield-engineering-valedictorian backstory was so zzzz, although I respect her importance in the era in which she was most famous. She may not be my favorite supermodel, but she holds that title legitimately.

With Kaia, I was skeptical, because she seemed a bit meh in print (Teen Vogue, Pop, MJ Daisy ads, etc.). But live, on the runway? She slays.

I can only imagine how much campaigns and printwork Kaia will get this season. I can already predict lots of work with Karl.... with some sponsored covers to go with it... along with some more work for Vogue.
