So different from Gwen [Stefani, his muse for their L.A.M.B. line], who’s sooo pregnant and beautiful, but really showing! Karen is just amazing…she was over because I’m doing costumes for the Citizen’s Band right now. Their show is on Saturday, which is soon, but for Sarah Sophie Flicker and Karen, of course I’ll do anything.”

Not thirty yards away, a packed crowd watched the Citizens Band perform by the beach, where a noticeably pregnant Karen Elson spent most of the time draped across the couch or crumpled on the floor (rest assured, it was apart of the act).

Jack told me his wife is trying to learn to cook chicken like I do. She sure is a beautiful, sweet girl."

Oh yes I remember reading that. Loretta Lynn would be the world's best godmother.
It would be great if Karen and Loretta have become close. I feel bad for Karen because I doubt she really has any friends yet in Nashville and she's probably been a little lonely while Jack's been touring, so I hope she either has become close friends with Loretta Lynn and has been spending time with her or she has been staying in New York where most of her friends are.
